Learn the poses most commonly offered in Vinyasa flow classes and how to practice them safely, including proper alignment and safety cues, modifications and variations, and breathwork (pranayama) to enhance your practice. This workshop will empower both new students and long-practicing yogis to feel confident going into flow classes, knowing what to do and how to do it safely, with the added benefit of having options to make each practice fit the unique needs of the body moment-to-moment on the mat. Additionally, we will cover basic Pranayama (breathwork) to use in class and in daily life.
What to expect: A laid back, open learning environment to gain confidence in your practice, from Sun Salutations to Savasana. Feel free to ask questions, address any concerns or struggles in your current practice, and learn strengthening exercises to continue progressing physical and mental aspects of yoga. All levels welcome!
